Soft and fluffy bread

Ingredients

 

  • 4 cups all-purpose  flour
  • 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F/43°C)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
