Paula Deen’s 5-Minute Fudge

Ingredients:

· 3 cups (600g) granulated  sugar
· 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted  butter
· 2/3 cup (160ml) evaporated  milk (one 5 oz can)
· 1 (12 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
· 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme (like Marshmallow Fluff)
· 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
· 1 1/2 cups (150g) chopped pecans, toasted (optional but highly recommended)
· A pinch of salt
