Layz man peach cobbler

Instructions
1. Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)

Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish

Put dish in the oven while it preheats to melt the butter

2. Mix the Batter
In a bowl, whisk together:

Flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk

Optional: Add a pinch of cinnamon or vanilla extract for extra flavor

3. Assemble
Remove hot pan with melted butter from oven

Pour the batter directly into the butter — do not stir

Spoon peaches and syrup evenly over the batter — again, don’t stir

The batter will rise around the peaches as it bakes

4. Bake
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly

Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving

Serve with:
Vanilla ice cream

Whipped cream

A drizzle of caramel sauce (optional but delish)

Variations:
Use fresh peaches: peel and slice 4 cups, toss with ½ cup sugar and a splash of lemon juice

Swap in other fruits like berries, cherries, or apples

Try brown sugar instead of white for a deeper flavor
