Homemade Strawberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped and patted dry

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk (or heavy cream)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries, puréed and strained
