Crispy Cheese Balls

Instructions:

 

  1. Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  2. Make the Batter:
    • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the Cheese Balls:
    • Take small portions of the cheese mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
    • Dip each ball into the egg mixture and then roll it in breadcrumbs to coat.
  4. Fry the Cheese Balls:
    • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. You need enough oil to fully submerge the cheese balls.
    • Fry the cheese balls in batches, cooking until golden and crispy (about 2-3 minutes).
    • Use a slotted spoon to remove the cheese balls and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  5. Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped chives (optional) and serve with your favorite dipping sauce like marinara or ranch.
