Creamy Shrimp & Grits

Instructions


Bring water or broth to a boil, stir in grits, reduce heat, and simmer 20–25 minutes until thick.
Stir in cream, butter, cheese, salt, and pepper. Keep warm.
In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy; remove and set aside.
Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.
Add shrimp, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, and butter. Cook 3–4 minutes until shrimp is pink.
Stir in cooked bacon.
Spoon creamy grits into bowls and top with the shrimp mixture.
Serve warm.
