In another bowl, combine the sugar and eggs. Using an electric mixer, beat until light and fluffy.
Continuing to beat, add the oil, then the milk and finally the yogurt. Add the dry ingredients:
Add the sifted flour and yeast, mixing well with a spoon or an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and fluid.
Add the apples:
Add 2/3 of the previously prepared apples to the mixture, mixing gently with a spoon.
Preparation:
Pour the mixture into a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle the remaining apple slices on top.
Bake in a static oven at 190°/200°C for about 50 minutes. If the cake darkens too much on the surface during baking, cover it with a little silver paper or baking paper.
Finishing:
After baking, let the cake cool in the pan. Sprinkle with vanilla icing sugar before serving.
